Remote Online Notarizations (Florida Statutes §117 Part 2):

In order to have your document(s) notarized via Remote Online Notarization you must be a US Citizen, be 18 years of age or older, have a Social Security Number, have at least 5 years of US credit history, have a US Driver’s License, US Passport or a State issued ID, have a Smartphone and have an email address. If you do not fulfill those requirements you might not pass the ID Verification. Neither Pensacola Mobile Notary LLC nor the Notary is not responsible if the principal or any of the witnesses (if any) do not pass the ID verification process. You may verify your identity up to four times per 24-hour period. If you fail the verification process twice, you must wait for 24 hours. The invoice is due before the documents are electronically processed. If you cannot pass the Verification process, half your payment will be refunded - the other half is nonrefundable due to the preparation of documents and third party costs. The same 50% rule applies fee applies if a Notarization cannot be completed due to technical issues. Neither Pensacola Mobile Notary LLC nor the Notary are responsible, if the principal or any of the witnesses experience technical issues before or during the Audio/Video session. The Audio/Video Session will be recorded. “Pensacola Mobile Notary LLC” will keep a copy of the recording for ten years. The Notarization takes place in the State of Florida under State laws. It is your responsibility to verify if the receiving party of the Document accepts notarizations from Florida. If the notarial wording does not meet the requirements according to Florida Statutes, the notary will either adjust the Certificate or attach a separate Certificate. If you are in a public and/or unsecured location during the Notarization, it is your responsibility to protect your privacy. It also is your responsibility to have a stable internet connection. If the principal is executing a Power of Attorney that grants special powers identified in Section 709.2202, Florida Statutes, then the required witnesses must be physically present with the principal in order for the Power of Attorney to be effective with respect to those special powers. If you are about to sign Estate Planning Documents and are a Vulnerable adult as defined in s. 415.102, Florida Statutes, the documents you are about to sign are not valid if witnessed by means of audio-video communication technology. If you suspect you may be a vulnerable adult, you should have witnesses physically present with you before signing. If the principal is executing an electronic will, then the recording must be maintained by a “qualified custodian” in accordance with Chapters 731 and 732, Florida Statutes.

Electronic copies are free of charge for:

  • A party to the electronic record

  • In a real estate transaction, the title agent, settlement agent, or title insurer who insured the electronic record or engaged the online notary public regarding the transaction

  • The Department of State

Electronic copies can be obtained for a $20 fee by:

  • The qualified custodian of an electronic will

  • The RON Service Provider whose services were used to notarize the electronic record

  • Any person who is asked to accept a Power of Attorney notarized by the Online Notary Public

  • Any other person pursuant to a subpoena, court order, law enforcement investigation or other lawful inspection demand

 

Pricing:

The final invoice reflects a summary of all fees listed on https://www.pensacola-mobile-notary.com/fees.

By using our service, you agree to the notarial fees regulated per Florida Statutes §117.05 (Traditional Notarization) and §117.275 (Remote Online Notarization) as well as to the additional service fees that occur due to the additional service provided.

 

Cancellation Policy:

All Sales are Final. If you must cancel your appointment, we respectfully request a 24-hour notice. Missed appointments, or appointments cancelled without 24-hour notice, are not refundable.

Late Fee Policy:

A late fee of $15 will be assessed for any payment not received within the due date. If payment is not received within 30, 60, or 90 days from the due date, a late fee of $15 will be assessed each time. The late fee will continue to accrue until payment is received in full. If Payment has not been received after 120 days of the due date, the account will be referred to our Law Firm. If you are unable to make the payment by the due date, please contact us to discuss possible payment arrangements.

Pensacola Mobile Notary LLC is using third-party services (including but not limited to Google Analytics, Google Ads, Wix, PayPal and Acuity Scheduling). By using the Website, you agree to have certain data collected from those third parties.

Settling disputes:

Florida law will govern all claims and disputes arising out of or relating to these terms, any notarizations or any services offered, regardless of conflict of laws. These disputes will be resolved exclusively in the court system of Escambia County or Santa Rosa County, Florida, USA, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts. The parties to this agreement will submit all arising disputes or claims regarding any notarizations or services offered to arbitration in Pensacola, Florida.
